What are the most common symptoms of cystitis?

I have checked out a lot of websites, and they all seem to say different things about cystitis symptoms. I have booked an appointment with my GP for next week for a check up, but due to how I have been feeling lately, my mum (who is a qualified nurse) thinks I may have cystitis.
I would appreciate any information you can give me, but please don’t give me any weblinks! I’m almost cross eyed from looking at them at this point!
